The GCS series low-voltage drawout switchgear is a drawout switchgear designed and developed by the Ministry of Electric Power Industry and the Ministry of Machine-Building Industry according to the requirements of the industry authorities, power users and design units. It meets national conditions, has high technical performance indicators, adapts to the development needs of the power market, and competes with existing imported products. It has been highly valued and recognized by manufacturing units and power use departments.

It is used in power plants, substations, petrochemical sectors, industrial and mining enterprises, metallurgical and textile industries, high-rise buildings, and other places with high automation levels and requirements for computer interfaces. It is used as a low-voltage complete supporting device for power distribution, centralized motor control, and reactive power compensation in power generation and power supply systems with a three-phase AC frequency of 50Hz, a rated working voltage of 380V, and a rated working current of 4000A or less.

The IP rating is IP30.

It complies with GB7251.1-2005 Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies Part 1: Type-tested and Partially Type-tested Assemblies, JB/T9661 Low-Voltage Drawable Switchgear Assemblies, and the international standard IEC439-1 Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies.

Structural Features

The cabinet body structure is assembled by KS profiles (KB profiles can also be used). The standard modular dimension is 20mm. The cabinet body is electrostatically sprayed after pickling and phosphating. The internal partitions and drawers are galvanized and passivated. Each function chamber is isolated, and the compartments include function unit chambers, busbar chambers and cable chambers. The functions of each chamber are relatively independent. It can prevent contact with live parts of adjacent function units and limit the spread of faults.
